Bringing Up Great Kids is a FREE, 6 week parenting education and support program that for Term 2 will be delivered via online live streamed (Zoom) meetings. Commencing on 13th May and running weekly for 6 weeks until 17th June, group participants will receive a participation pack in advance with a parenting journal and lots of interactive handouts and exercises. Each session runs from 10:30am - 12:00pm each Wednesday. To book your place please contact our office on (02) 9528 2933.

This parenting program uses mindfulness reflection for parents to review and enhance patterns of communication with their children, to promote more respectful interactions and encourage the development of children’s positive self-identity. The program draws from child-centred and strengths-based perspectives, neurological development, attachment theory and narrative approaches.

As part of the program, participants will receive a parenting journal and free booklet with many interactive exercises, as well as integrated reflective/mindful activities. This will be sent to all participants before the online sessions start, and at the conclusion of the program, all "graduates" will receive a Certificate of Completion via mail.

Unlike our normal face to face parenting programs, due to COVID-19, this Term 2 group is running online with "offline support materials" provided in advance of the start date. Registration is important to ensure you receive the materials and link for the online support. If you've thought about doing a parenting course in the past but haven't been able to sign up due to work commitments, now may be the perfect time to develop your parenting skills further, as the course "comes to you" in your home.
