Kate Cora is responsible for managing and leading our Southern Sydney Women's Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service team, who support women after domestic violence incidents and through the legal/court processes that may follow; as well as being a linkage point for domestic violence responses in the Sutherland Shire and St.George regions. Her team provides support to women referred by Police who are going through Sutherland Court for an ADVO matter, work with women on safety plans, manage high risk cases, as well as general referral and advocacy work.

Kate holds a Bachelor of International Studies and Laws, with a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, a Masters of Social Work, and experience in private sector, government and community work – which has mostly been focussed on the wellbeing of women and children.

She is passionate about creating strong and adaptive programs and team environments, where we operate in the most effective, sensitive and client lead way that we can to increase wellbeing of those we work with and communities in general.
